Connect Realty gets serious on growth and hires “Headhunter” Darin Miller from RE/MAX

April 23, 2010

The story begins on a day like any other with a standard recruiting call. Late last year, Darin made a call to Connect Realty Agent Heidi Marsh of El Dorado Hills and worked his magic to get her over to his RE/MAX brokerage. Sweet and sharp Heidi agreed to meet him and let him do his recruiting thing on one condition: that he would agree to hear about Connect Realty. Heidi was convinced that the value proposition she had to offer through Connect would far outweigh anything he had to say. She was right. Soon after meeting Connect’s team of executives, a partnership was born. And the rest is history: the recruiter got recruited!

Before Darin started his new life at Connect, he was head of the recruiting department for RE/MAX Gold in California. This brokerage has consistently ranked in the top 5 worldwide in RE/MAX International. He has recruited top teams/agents/brokers all over the West and was a part of the state-wide team who hired over 500 million+ worth of sales volume in 2009. With everything that the internationally-recognized brokerage had to offer, the Connect Realty difference could not be denied.

“I look to bring value to the hardworking agent,” Darin says. “The passion that the team at Connect Realty has for what they do and the excellent value offered to agents is a perfect fit for me.”

As a recruiter for Connect Realty, his business focus currently is to build a strong group at the new corporate office based in The Woodlands, TX. Starting now, Darin will take Connect’s remarkable growth to the next level and will forge ahead into new areas and markets to grow the company like never before.

Throughout this week, Darin is visiting the corporate office to get a running start on his recruiting efforts and to pick the brains of the executives. We are excited and refreshed to add Darin’s energy and personality to our already outstanding team.
